The years following high school graduation are among the most crucial of a lifetime.  It is during these years which most young people choose a career path. Also, many will meet the one with whom they will marry and spend the rest of their lives.  During these years, it is important to have Godly direction and wisdom, which is only found from being close to God and good spiritual counselors.

The Singles' Ministry at Fellowship Baptist Church is dedicated to being that counsel. This ministry's workers wish to point young singles to God and His wisdom during these very important years.  If you are a single adult, we invite you to take advantage of the following opportunities in the Singles' Ministry:

  • College & Career Sunday School Class - This Sunday school class is focused to help those who are entering into college or the work force.  The teacher is the Singles' Ministry director, Bro. Toby Ivey.  His goal is to help and encourage the young adults, to build their relationship with Jesus Christ, and help them to seek God's will for their lives. This class will help them to be prepared for the next stage of their lives, whether it be marriage and family or serving God faithfully through the local church.

  • Singles' activities - a young single adult does not have to go to the world to enjoy their post-high school years.  Enjoy fun and exciting outings with young single adults which share your common spiritual interests.

  • Ministry - Fellowship Baptist Church has several opportunities to live for others.  Single adults will find that after they graduate from high school, staying busy for God will help them stay on track to God's perfect will.

Bro. Toby Ivey is a 2006 graduate of Heritage Baptist Institute of Durham, NC.

Along with his wife, Kristal, he serves as director of the Singles' Ministry at Fellowship Baptist Church.

The Ivey's have a heart for the single's in the Triangle area.  Not only do they want to reach them for Christ, but they wish to help them grow and do God's will for their lives.
